white nites

i lay tangled in a floral mess
of lies, lust . . . Love
and YOU
the light i wish to wrap it all in

to the truth ive already secretly surrendered to
that i have fallen, in every way imagineable, for you
youve dampened these lavender petals with Love
making you my heavenly sky of showers

ive burrowed my curling spine into your grasp
such a precious and intricate pain
making my life need this
thinking that i could actually stay this way

til the white in the moon falls out

  1. "til the white in the moon falls out"

the whole poem leads to this exquisite ending. Bravo!

  2. such a precious and intricate pain....bedmates with love, lies lust and you...that can be quite a deadly combination you know...smiles.

  3. Wow such a powerful ending, be nice if the white on the moon lasted a while longer sometimes.

  4. Hi my name is William.I am new around these parts. Very fairy-like and forbidden but wrapped in natures pretty white silk. Thank you.

  5. "Till the white in the moon falls out" ... oh yes, this intricate pain can last forever within ones bliss...
Thanks for sharing such a lovely verse...

  6. Your last line is always very interesting...~

I see you like Pablo Neruda. I do too ~ I wrote one poem last saturday based on his post, Walking Around. And next week, I have another based on his Everyday poem ~
